SCC or Standards Council Canada: SCC is the accrediting body for Canadian Product Certification. The appropriate federal, provincial or state regulatory agencies are responsible for regulating the sale of approved products in their respective jurisdictions. These regulatory agencies may require that a product be certified prior to import or sale in Canada. Particularly for Information on requirements that apply to imported products (such as whether they need to be certified as meeting particular standards) can be obtained from the Canada Border Services Agency. SCC accredited laboratory with necessary credential and qualifications, can certify a product to relevant Canadian standards.
